Today I did some beading and almost finished my bead embroidered pendant that you can see in last post. As you can see, it is quite different from the first version and my sketch. But after adding the first freshwater bearl I wasn´t very pleased with the result. And as I had some more pearls I decided to change the design. And I like, how it turned out.
Now I have to glue some caton and ultrasuede to the backside and then stitch the edges.

On my desk
I started with a bead embroidered pendant. I have a gorgeous pink Czech glass button with golden dragonfly motif. This will be the center of this pendant. I surrounded it with light pink silver lined Toho seed beads (9/0), black Zcech seed beads (9/0) and size 11/0 Toho seed beads in pomegranate (silver lined) and bronze with pink luster. When I started I made a sketch how the pendant would look like. But for now my plan has already changed a bit about the edging.
I have some pink freshwater pearls with match the background of the button. So I will use these pearls also.Tuesday, January 28, 2014
Black and green bead embroidered earrings
As I promised, I made one more pair of bead embroidered earrings, a bit similar to these.
But this time I used green flat mother of pearl bead in the center. Central bead is surrounded with black and green Czech seed beads. Black beads are size 9/0 and green ones a bit smaller, but I´m not sure about the exact size.
Backside of these earrings is also covered with black felt. I used black metal hook earwires as I thought these would look better than silver ones. These earrings are also quite big (beaded part is almost 4 cm in diameter), but very lightweit and comfotable to wear.Saturday, January 25, 2014

Pink and black bead embroidered earrings
Pink and black bead embroidered earrings are finished and today it was nice sunny day, so I managed to do some photos also.
As I wrote in last post I used pink syntethical turquise cabachons in the center. The cabachons are in two different sizes. The smaller ones 1 cm in diameter, but I´m not sure how big the bigger ones are. Cabachons are surrounded with black Czech seed beads and pink Toho seed beads. Backside is covered with black felt. Two beaded rings are beaded separately and attached to each other.
Usually I use sterling silver earwires, but this time I choosed dark metal earwires as these look better for those earrings.
These earrings are quite large (total length is 8 cm (3.1 inches), bet these are very lightwait.
I love how they turned out and I´m sure I´ll make some similar earrings quite soon.

Pink and black earrings
I am working with black and pink bead embroidered earrings at the moment. I finished one earring today, but then it was already too dark to make a good picture. I hope to finish the other one in couple a days and make pictures also.
In these earrings I use pink syntethical turquise cabachons, black Czech seed beads (9/0) and pink silver lined Toho seed beads (11/0).

Ice, ice baby
We have nice white snow in Estonia now. After a long waiting it is like a wonderland outside.
Here are some white and nice items I found from Etsy.
