These earrings are really sparkling due to green Swarovski rivolis I used as center. I used 14 mm rivolis and the tone is peridot. I surrounded them with Czech superduos and different Toho seed beads.

Beadwoven flower earrings
It has been a long-long break. Too long. I have been done some beading meanwhile, but not very much. And I haven´t got here to post anything for too long.
So I try to show now what I have done meanwhile. This time I will show flower earrings, which I have in too different variantions.
I started with these smaller beaded flower earrings with cat eye cabachon in the center. When I bought these small cabachons (I guess, they are 10 mm, max 12 mm in diameter, I´m not very sure anymore) I thought about flowers immediately, daisies.
The center is bead embroidered. I used different golden seed beads in size 10 and 11. Backside of the cabachon is covered with white ultra suede. These are post earrings and have surgical steel posts.
After finishing these earrings I started thinking about some kind a modification with shiny Swarovski Rivolis. And I had idea about white flowers with dark center - something black or gray or dark blue. I found lovely Rivolis in Black Diamond tone in two different sizes, 12 and 14 mm, that matched perfectly with my plan.
This time I used beadwoven bezel to surround the Rivolis. I used silver lined Toho seed beads in size 8/0. This time I wanted to make a bit more plentiful flowers, so I decided to make two layers of petals. Finally I connected two flowers and added sterling silver hook earwires.
When I started to make photos of these earrings I found that it was very tricky task. It was so hard to get good pictures. I like to photograph my jewelry on white backgound. But these white flowers dissapeared on white backgound. So I tried different colors. I am most satisfied with that dark grey one where those layers of petals are the ost visible, but Rivolis look a bit too light. They are actually a bit darker, more like on the upper photo.
These earrings turned out really luxury, perfect for summer wedding or for soe special occasion.

Herringbone necklace in progress
I wanted to try to do a herringbone stitch flower. For the center I took yellow (tone sunflower) 14 mm Swarovski rivoli and nested it with beaded bezel. For the bezel I used Toho seed beads - 8/0 size silver lined yellow and 11/0 golden ones.
To make the flower I took silver lined dark orange Czech seed beads, I gues the size is 11/0. And started to surround the rivoli with herringbone stitch. I made many increses when I stitched the flower to make it weavy. I´m very satified how it turned out.
Now I plant to make twisted herringbone rope for the necklace. Maybe I´ll do some more flowers, maybe a bit smaller ones... I´ll decide this when the rope is finished.

Dark red Swarovski Rivoli earrings
Yesterday I added here a photo about starting with dark red Rivoli earrings. Today it was a nice shiny weather and I managed to make some better photos. These are technically the same as turquise Rivoli earrings.
Only backside of the Rivoli is not coveres with beads.

Stars of the Twilight
Yesterday and today I continued making Rivoli earrings and ended up with two new pears.
At first I will show you the purple ones. When I look at my Etsy shop then many of the products are in different shades of purple and when I think about purchasing beads then I often end up with purple ones ...
But about the earrings ... in the center I used 14 mm crystal AB Rivoli, which shine very nicely in different colors. I surrounded it with laverner opaque superduo beads and different shades and sizes of Toho seed beads. I used sizes 8/0, 11/0 and 15/0. At first I thought to leave enterior round of superduos separately as rays. But then I got the idea to make the earrings look like little stars. So I ended up with these star earrings.
Backside is parlty covered with beads. But I thought that the silver surfice of the backside of Rivoli is beautyful itself and suits very well with purple tones.
Usually I don´t give names to my jewelry, but these seem to have enough caracter to have a name. and when I look at those different shades of purple I start thinking about something dark (in good meaning) and hazy. So I thought that the most suitable name for those sparkling, but the same time a bit hazy earrings will be Stars of the Twilight.
As I wrote in the beginning I ended up with two pears of earrings. The other pear is with very glistering wine red seed beads and also 14 mm Rivoli (fuchsia). But I didn´t managed to make good pictures about finished earrings. So I will show you today only one picture about the process and try to catch better photos tomorrow.

Turquise Rivoli earrings
Couple a days ago I made a pair of Swarovski Rivoli earrings. These sparkling earrings remember a little flower to me. I used 14 mm Rivoli (tone light turquise) and 11/0 and 15/0 Matsuno seed beads. I used peyote stitch to make the bezel and herringbone stitch to surround it. The backside is covered with beads.
The hooks are 925 sterling silver.
These earrings are avaylable in my Etsy store.
