Icy crocheted rope lariat

It has been a very long break since I wrote here last time. 

It´s mainly because in July I started to work again, after being at home woth my son, and now I have very few time for my passion to beads. But I still try to do something :)

This lovely crocheted rope lariat is custom order. One very stylish lady saw my blue lariat and loved these glowing drop-beads I used there. But she didn´t wanted a blue necklace. So we decded together that these blue drops would like nice with white as well. And here is the result. 

This is long lariat (I forgot to measure the length before I gave it away), so it can be worn in  different ways.

I used Czech seed beads - white ones are milky ones with lovely silky shine. Blue ones are transparent.

Gold and black jewelry set with clip earrings

 This jewelry set is made as custom order. I used big glass cabachons that I colored loght gold. This is very beautiful color. Depenging on the light it somethimes looks darker, somethimes lighter. I love this color.

Cabachons, I used, are quite big as you can see. I surrounded them with different sizes of black seed beads, small golden ones and big (size 6/0) gold filled light beige Toho seed beads. These beads match perfectly with light gold cabachos.  

Backside of bead embroidered details is covered with brown ultra suede. 

And this is the first time for me to make clip earrings. But actually the difference compared to making hook earwire earrings is not so big. But still .... 

New technique - soutache

Some time ago I tried soutache. I have looked and admired soutache jewelry for a wile - what a beautiful colors and details. And now I decided to try.

My first soutache detail is very simple. Three soutache cords, glass beads and invisible beading cord.

When I started I didn´t had any idea how I will use this detail. But when I had finished couple a loops I thought it would be nice on a hair barrette. So I took a peace of gray felt, glued the detail to the felt,  and then to a barrette blank.

Pink and black set of necklace and earrings

Some time ago I finished these pink and black earrings and necklace.

 

I used glass cabachons again :) The central one is quite big approx. 3 x 4 cm. I glued them all to black felt and started stitching. I used different sizes of black seed beads and some small pink and gold ones, too.

 

As the cabachons are quite big, the necklace itselt is quite massive as well.

 

 

And matching earrings with round glass cabachons (14 mm) and black lever back earwires. Backside of earrings and beaded tiles of neckalce are covered with ultra suede.

 

 

 

I started with matching bracelet as well, but I haven´t had enoug time to finish that.

Ready for summer

Wrapped bracelets are perfect for summer. Blue turquise is summer classic. Specially with natural brown leather and golden metal button. 

 And bright colors as this red and flower button are also summers must have. 

Gold and black shoe clips

To complite my black and gold collection I made also matching shoe clips. These are simple oval shape clips. In the center there are the same golden handpainted glass cabachons surrounded with different seed beads. 

In the back there is brown ultra suede. 

And here are the clips attached to beige shoes. 

Black and gold jewelry collection

As you can see from my blog I have done quite many beaded butterfly brooches. And some days ago I finished one with golden wings. I used black seed beads to surround the cabachons and lovely Toho gold lined seed beads (size 6/0) to finish the edge. These beads are so beautiful - they are gold lined and look a little like frosted, but they also have swome gray and green shine. 

Actually I colored these cabachons quite a long time ago and I had also these golden Toho seed beads waiting ... but somehow they just staid for waiting. Now one day I took these cabs and beads and started stitchong.

I like the color of these golden cabachons. They are like glowing in the center of black beads. Brooch is like others with metal brooch pin on the back and backside is covered with brown ultra suede.

As I liked the combination of these colors I made also one round shape brooch fot those who like more classical shapes. 

And after fisinhing these two brooches I took two 12 mm glass cabachons and colored them for matching earrings. I have used this design before for black and pink earrings last winter. These earrings are small and lightweight.

And here you can see earrings and round both brooch together. 

And here are the same earrings combined with butterfly brooch.

And I found that I have done also a pair of simple lever back earrings eith the same golden glass cabachons.

I made also matching black and gold shoe clips that I will show in next post.

Masculine wrap bracelet

This is a little more massive bracelet that others and fits perfectly for some fellow. I used 3 mm black leather cord and natural wood lace stone beads. Wood lace stone beads are excactly like wood beads, but they have such a soft velvety surface and nice shine. And nise warm caramelle color.

Red and blue collection

I made one red and blue Etsy treasury. Most of these items are made by estonians.

Dark blue flower earrings

For these earrings I used beautiful dark blue glass flowers. These flowers are Czech glass beads with nice flower shape window cut with lovely silver center. 

Earrings have simple design as the flowers are so beautiful itself. I surrounded the flowers with calvanized silver Toho seed beads and added some black seed beads to the final row. I think these black beads in the edge give that final toutch. 

Earrings have silver plated nickel free earwires and backside of beaded part is covered with black ultra suede. 

Wrap bracelets

I listed to my Etsy shop two braded leather wrap bracelets that I have done some time ago. But I didn´t had good pictures of these, so they just staid in  jewelry box and waited. 

Both bracelets can be double wrapped around the wrist. The first one is an unisex bracelet, as it is made with black leather, darker beads and simple metal button. I used 6 mm glass beads for this.

The other one is with a little smaller beads (5 mm) and with olive green leather cord. These beads are very ineteresting, they have many different colors - brown, gray and a little green in some places. 

Metallic gray buterfly and matching earrings

I finished this butterfly some time ago. Now I made matching earrings and made some photos. 

This time I used metallic gray color for glass cabachons. Cabachons are surrounded with different seed beads - transparent silver lined (size 8/0) and silver (sixe 11/0) Toho seed beads and black (size 9/0) Czech seed beads. The edge is stitched with transparent gray (size 6/0 ) and black seed beads. 

This butterfly a brooch again. It has metal brooch pin and backside is covered with black ultra suede.

I made also matching earrings. I used smaller glass cabachons and the same beads as in brooch. 

 Earrings have silver colored stud earwires. 

Simple everyday earrings

Meanwhile I have added some pairs of colorful cameo earrings into my shop. I use clear glass cabachons that I color myself and dark gray nickel free lever back earrings. Here is are some of them.

Today I listed two pairs of cobalt blue earrings. First pair has clear cobalt blue cabachons. 

The other pair of cobalt earrings have nicely glittering cameos. This time is glitter so fine that it is almost like silver dust.

Metallic gray earrings make perfect match with gray bead embroidered butterfly brooch I haven´t listed yet. 

And finally a pair of wine red earrings. 

All these earrings have lever back earwires that are very easy to open and close and closed safely, so you don´t have to worry about losing your earrings.
