Crocheted rope necklace and earrings

One of my crocheted beaded rope lariat necklaces will be sent to United Stated soon. The lariat is crocheted from emerald green and two tones of light yellow seed beads (size 9) with blending color change. I added some orange seed beads to add some contrast and color. The rope is finished with beaded fringes and Czech glass leaves. It is 126 cm (49.6 in) long, including fringes in both ends.

When I made this peace, I made only necklace. But as customer wanted also little matching earrings, I made a pair of earrings now. These earrings are made from one glass leaf (the same as in necklace) and some short beaded fringes. Earrings have sterling silver hook earwires.

I hope that owner of this jewelry set will enjoy wearing  these peaces:)

"Forget-me-not" jewelry set

This jewelry set is not in my usual style. This is much more romantic than my other items. But I like this new style and using lucite flowers in bead embroidery. So I think there will be some similar items soon.

I started with brooch. This has light blue oval cat eye cabachon in the center. Cabachon is surrounded with Czech seed beads in silver (size 9/0). Then I took some light blue fire polished beads, bigger Toho seed beads in silver and lucite flowers. When I attached the flowers to the brooch they instantly reminded me forget-me-not flowers. That´s why this set has such a name:) When I started to stitch the edge I first didn´t had the plan to add round glass beads. But when I had done simple beaded edge it seemed that something is missing. And those round light grey beads I found from my stash were just perfect.

For a moment I was thinking about making this a pendant for a necklace. But I decided to stay to the initial idea to make a brooch. It has grey metal pin and packside is covered with grey felt.

As I had two smaller cabachons and enough beads and lucite flowers I started with matching earrings. Earrings are made from the same beads, backside is also covered with grey felt and they have sterling silver hook earwires.

White and gold

This is my next triple wrapped leather bracelet, this time in white and gold. This a luxury peace that suits very well for wedding jewelry, but not only.
I used golden Toho seed beads (size 6/0) and oval shape Czech glass beads. These glass beads have nice crackle finish with gold and white. And the surface of these beads is a bit scabrous. I used 2 mm natural leather cord and golden metal button.
This button has nice lace motif. This bracelet is very flexible as all leather wrapped bracelets and feels very comfortable around the wrist.

Finally finished

I finally finished my bead embroidered necklace with white turquise that I showed here and here. I beaded those three tiles first but then it staid for a while because I wasn´t sure which strand to make. At first I had idea to use some chain. But I couldn´t find that one, what would suit well and I wasn´t very sure about that idea as well. Then I had idea to make some kind beadwoven rope. But I discovered that I will run out of seed beads. So this necklace staid unfinished for a while until one day I got the idea to use turquise beads and copper clasp. I used white turquise beads in two different sizes and some seed beads between them ann I am very pleased how it finally turned out.
It has three embroidered tiles with oval white syntethical turquise cabachon. I bezeled cabachons with Toho seed beads in size 11/0 and surrounded them with seed beads in size 8/0.
Necklace strand is made from turquise beads in two different sizes. And I choosed simple copper T-clasp for closure.
As I had two round turquise cabachons I made matching earrings as well. Earrings have also copper earwires this time.

And while wondering how to finish this necklace, I stitched one more pear of black and light pink earrings that I whill post next time.

On my desk

At the moment I am working with two projects.
Some days ago I started with a new pear of bead embroidered earrings. This time I used green glass bead with irregular oval shape as the focal bead. I surrounded it with Toho seed beads in size 11/0. Backside is covered with thin light brown leather. For now I have finished the other earring detail also and I have to wait for my package with post earwires.
Second project in progress is bead embroidered necklace with white syntethical turquise. I started with this one some time ago. But I wasn´t sure how I will make the strand for this necklace. Now I have joined embroidered parts together and I am waiting for more turquise beads to make the strand.
